As far as I know, the band never used an article with their name. Shouldn't it just be "Happy Mondays", or did they ever use the "the"?

Yes, Happy Mondays it is, as you can see.

[edit] what happened to the pic?

Nathan - I love the Mondays, by the way.

[edit] Manchester?

Aren't the Mondays from Salford, not Manchester? Jhamez84 22:13, 14 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] intro

What is going on in the introduction to this article? It's not at all the style of wikipedia or any other encyclopedia. It's written like an amusing article by a fan of the band. Some effort for NPOV perhaps? ex's of what is innapropriate: "if you've ever seen amadeus..." "their music is sexy" etc etc etc

It's copied from http://www.abc.net.au/rage/guest/2001/ryder.htm. I removed it.

Lots of shoddy writing on the this page like: "Shaun Ryder fought against a serious drug problem which typified the scene and the era." In answer to that I say Yes he did..no it didn't.
