[edit] Merging Daniel Lafferty into article

I wasn't the one who suggested the merger, but I want to make a note on the talk page. I fully support the idea of merging that stub into the main article. The main article isn't very long in its current form and I see no harm in merging the two articles together. PS2pcGAMER (talk) 05:51, 25 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Goof or Not?

"When Shooter McGavin pays the jeering fan for taunting Happy Gilmore and suspending him from the PGA tour, the fan he states that he's going to spend it at Red Lobster. However, in Pitt Meadows and the entire province of British Columbia, Canada, there are no Red Lobsters."

Okay, but wasn't that scene supposed to take place in San Fransisco?

They clearly say the Pepsi Pro-Am was taking place in Frisco. Regardless of where filming is, the location in-film is the Bay. --The Saxon 03:37, 21 October 2006 (UTC)

"At the hockey try-outs, the coaches are shown standing behind the glass right after Happy shatters it with his slap shot." - should this be considered a goof? I've always felt that the coaches were standing behind the plate of glass that Happy had shattered as a point of comedy, basically, out of all of the plates of glass in the Hockey arena, Happy managed to hit the puck at the one in front of the coaches (unintentionally).—Preceding unsigned comment added by Applepwnz (talk • contribs)

The goof is that they are shown behind the glass right after it is shattered. That is, the glass is intact even after Happy's puck shattered it. It is a continuity error. — Frecklefoot | Talk 17:31, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

I'm removing the goof about Bob Barker's pants. The Pro-Am was probably not only a one-day tournament and it's very possible he switched pants as a result of the fight taking place on a second or third day. Metsfanmax 17:47, 28 July 2007 (UTC)

"It is interesting to note that during the scene where Happy is yelling and screaming at the ball with Kevin Nealon in the background, the scene is live and tking place as the President of the Tour is watching him on TV. However, since the shot of Happy golfing is supposed to be live, one must wonder how they are editing all the words he is swearing."

Correct me if I'm wrong, but there is an explanation for this...I'm pretty sure theres a 7 (or so) second delay on a live broadcast to edit language etc. So I will delete this point, feel free to revert it if you want. --Adam aka. Cho03 12:51, 25 September 2006 (UTC)

I agree. Actually it is almost along the lines of Rocky. Somebody keeps taking it upon themselves to keep deleteing my entries in the trivia section about the comparisons to it.
