Happy Seven (はっぴぃセブン ~ざ・テレビまんが~ Happy 7 ~The TV Manga~?) is an anime series which consists of 13 episodes that began airing in Japan October 2, 2005. The original story was by Hiroyuki Kawasaki. It was directed by Tsutomu Yabuki and produced by Studio Hibari and Trinet Entertainment.

[edit] Overview
The protagonist of the series, Amano Sakogami is a happy but unlucky girl. She has a dream about being attacked by a woman in a purple kimono. She is rescued by a boy in this dream. However she is made to forget it. It is only when she is recruited by a club at her school that she finally remembers. This club is called the Better Fortune Research Organization, which is a cover for the Happy Seven. The club consists of seven girls who each have a different power of the Shichifukujin, the Seven Lucky Gods. There are two other female members of the club a dog-girl and a girl with pigtails and glasses. Amano recognizes the lone male member of the club to be the boy who rescued her in her dreams. When she realizes this, she appoints herself as their manager. In addition to these revelations she comes to realize that the student council president is Happy Seven's adversaries. He is one of the reasons that Magatsugami, monsters that feed on negative emotions, are being released onto the world. In episode 10 her childhood friends Nene, Mimi and herself transforms into Lucky Three but Mimi and Nene's memories are erased by Kikunosuke

- Amano Sakogami (Yuuna Inamura): Lead character who was cursed with bad luck from the time she was young. She is the manager of Better Fortune Research Organization. She is also part of Lucky Three as transformed in episode 10 representing the flower
- Kikunosuke Kagawa (Jun Fukuyama): The guy and upperclassman that Amano likes from the Happy Seven. His god is not readily revealed. He is the leader of Happy Seven. Everyone in the club has a crush on him. He never seems to open his eyes except when he's transformed
- Kuriya Kuroda (Houko Kuwashima): She represents Daikokuten. She carries a hammer.
- Tamon Kitayama (Chiemi Chiba): Tamon represents Bishamonten. Tamon's power is Jarei-mekkyaku raiko sange
- Sarasugawa Kiku (Mai Nakahara): Also said as Okiku. She represents Benzaiten.
- Mahiru Oki (Yu Kobayashi): Mahiru represents Ebisu and tends to carry around a fish with her.
- Miku Munakata (Yuuko Sumitomo): She is voiced by Yuuko Sumitomo. She represents Hoteisama. She is a doctor.
- Mina Kotobuki (Omi Minami): Mina represents Fukurokuju.
- Nami Kotobuki: Nami represents Juroujin.
- Kuan Kitayama (Eri Sendai): In her second year. She has glasses.
- Shouko Shouda (Tomoko Kaneda): Also called Shoujou. Is the anamorphic dog-person. She acts as kind of their familiar.

- Nene Tokuda (Erika Nakai): She is voiced by Erika Nakama. She is also a member of Lucky Three representing the Eyes.
- Chazawa: Teacher who isn't married and dreams of it.
- Kaoru Sajime: A classmate who is dressing like a boy against her own will.
- Tomomi Sasaki (Saki Fujita): She was in episode 10. A friend of Mimi's that had a confusing life and didn't believe in anything.

Monsters were attacking Amano and the Happy Seven comes to fight them. Kikunosuke Kagawa saves her and erases her memory. The next morning Amano feels like she was forgetting something. As she looks out the window of her classroom, she sees a boy and remembers that it was the same boy from her dream. Amano falls down the stairs and ends up in Better Fortune Research Organization's room. The girls tell her to go to a stone called the stone of prayer. The stone shone with some sort of light and a monster comes out. | |||

The Happy Seven were about to fight with the monster that was associated with Amano's bad luck but the student council president shows up (the ally of the monster)and the monster and the president escape. The Happy Seven decides to do the Diveine Spirit Test on Amano and they found out that she has an ability and it stopped her memory from getting erased. After being attacked and saved again, Amano decides to join the Better Fortune Research Organization as their manager. | |||

Amano finds out that Kagawa-kun had to go a meeting and wasn't at the club. The other members tell her that everyone in the club has a crush on him and showed her the rules on that matter, randomly Kagawa-kun walks in and they all panicked. Kaoru-kun was a girl but acted and dressed like a boy since she was possessed. The Happy Seven tried to make her more girly. After failing, they went to the plastic model club that she was in and they found out that she was a normal girl before she quit. They got Kaoru to make a model and the monster came out of her. Happy Seven defeated the monster and Kaoru went back to normal. | |||

A young boy went missing. At the festival, Amano accidentally got Kagawa's Yukata dirty and a lady told her not to wipe it. She brought them to her house and the Happy Seven said that she was possessed. They found the missing boy in one of the buildings at the house but the lady attacked them and tied them up with her web. They talked it out and she let them go. | |||

One of the Happy Seven bought hair clips for everyone.The twins did not want one since the shapes were different. They encountered a magatsugami(monster) and changed into their fighting form. The monster also changed into their form and the twins did not know who was who. The Happy Seven came to rescue them but the monster got away. The twins have an argument and they end up wearing the pins that were given to them. The monster attacks and the twins defeat it. | |||
