Happy Madison
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Happy Madison Productions is a film production company founded by actor Adam Sandler. Fellow performers (and friends of Sandler) Allen Covert, Nick Swardson, Peter Dante, Jonathan Loughran, Rob Schneider, David Spade, Chris Rock and Dana Carvey have headlined films under the Happy Madison banner.
Happy Madison takes its name from the films Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison, two of many box office successes for Adam Sandler.
The company's production office is located in the Judy Garland building on the Sony Pictures Studios lot in Culver City, California.
In 2008 a Spin-off production company called Scary Madison pictures was established to produce horror films. The first film to be released through the company will be Shortcuts.
