Happy Hour, new wave band Humans' debut full-length album, was released in 1981 on I.R.S. Records. [1] Recorded at the famed Automatt studio in San Francisco. The songs Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark/Get You Tonight and Lightning were released on a radio station promo single. [2] Lead singer Sterling Storm directed a longform music video based on this album. The videotape, entitled Happy Hour with the Humans, was distributed by Mike Nesmith's pioneering company, Pacific Arts Video. [3]
