Happy Birthday, Charlie Brown is one of many prime-time animated TV specials based upon the popular comic strip Peanuts, by Charles M. Schulz. It was originally aired on the CBS network in 1979.
This episode celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Peanuts comic strip (actually 1980), and the 15th anniversary of animated Peanuts specials on CBS. It includes an interview with Charles M. Schulz. Phyllis George hosted.
