"Happy" is the second single released by R&B/pop singer Ashanti from her self-titled debut album, Ashanti. Released in 2002, the single peaked at #8 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. While the album version features Ashanti by herself and so does the music video, the radio version features Ja Rule. The song and its remix sample Gap Band's "Outstanding". This song is about Ashanti being much happier and chipper after finding a new boyfriend. The song clearly states "I'm so happy that I found you, boy."
