Happiness Is the Road is Marillion's forthcoming 15th studio album, a double album, if bought directly from the band as a pre-order, due for release in late 2008. The album title was announced on March 12, 2008, along with the subtitles of the individual discs, Essence and The Hard Shoulder which will be available individually upon release.^[1] The album was made available for pre-order in October 2007, the proceeds of which were used to finance the recording and promotion of the album.
