Haplogroup UK (mtDNA)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In human genetics, Haplogroup UK is a human mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) haplogroup. It is also referred nowadays as simply Haplogroup U, because it is now known that K is a subclade of U8[1].
Until a few years ago it was considered that haplogroup UK was the parent haplogroup of both Haplogroup U* & Haplogroup K.
