[edit] Re:Your 3RR report Hypotheticals
Hi there: I decided not to block Alastair Haines for now in the hopes a final warning will stop the edit war. I've looked at the article history and it looks to me like it's been 24 hours since your first revert, so you'll be able to restore the template now. If Alastair Haines keeps reverting, update me. Thanks. Heimstern Läufer 05:53, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
In the future, please make certain that the user you're reporting has received a warning which links directly to the Wikipedia:Three-revert rule policy. Your recent report has resulted in a warning, because it is not obvious that the user was given the policy to read. The standard 3RR warning template, {{uw-3rr}}, is a good choice. Since the user has now been warned, you may report again if there is a further violation. ··coelacan 05:56, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry, I was right on Heimstern's heels, I guess. Didn't mean to hammer it in. ··coelacan 05:57, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
Thanks guys. Just by the way, I didn't find the instructions for posting a 3RR report all that straightforward (for me the trickiest was posting the 4 reversions; I thought it was the links to 4 reverted versions, but coelacan you indicate on the 3RR report page that I've malformatted: was it this or something else?.) Acknowledged re posting the template onto the other's page. Hanse 08:22, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
