[edit] Latvia-centric

Hansabank Group might operate in Latvia, but it was, until 2005, an Estonian-owned and run financial group - Anatoly Blik (whoever he is) is merely some random guy whose bank was merged into the Hansabank Group. It's now owned by the Swedbank group, who have terminated the Hansabank brand at least in Russia - in the Baltics the brand seems to be strong enough that so far it hasn't been named Swedbank (also, the "Swed" part of the name might not go over too well with private commercial bank customers outside Sweden). Also, I don't see how this article is legitimately a part of WikiProject Latvia - some Swedish-owned conglomerate operating in the Baltic market is not a Baltic topic anymore than McDonalds restaurants in Riga or Tallinn are parts of Estonian or Latvian WikiProjects. Hence I'm also removing that tag. Unigolyn 06:17, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
