I wonder why Hannu went on his expidition. Did he want to have fame, riches, or was he just adventurous?- JORDAN ROBERTS 10 yrs SVE STUDY GROUP WITH KENZIE KNIGHT AND MCKENZIE SURBART

ANSWERS FOR JORDAN AND QUESTIONS I think that Hannu went on his expidition because he wanted riches and fame for his country. Why did Hannu decide to go on a expidition to Ethiopia and Somalia? KENZIE KNIGHT 10 yrs SVE STUDY GROUP WITH MCKENZIE SUBART AND JORDAN ROBERTS

ANSWERS FOR KENZIE KNIGHT Thank you for those answers. Now I can set myself straight. Now for your questions. I believe that Hannu decided to go to Ethopia and Somalia because they had the best metal, wood, and myrrh. I wonder if Ethopia and Somalia is also known as punt, because Punt never showed up on the maps. Anyone except Kenzie have answers? JORDAN ROBERTS SVE (and you know the rest) (go to edit this page to give me answers or ask questions

It's very easy why he went on this expedition. His king ordered him to get stones from Wadi Hammamat for statues, what he brought with him. He sent this vessel to Punt to get myrrh from the people there. He was not the first one who did so, but the first of the Middle Kingdom. Where Punt is to be located, is disputed. Either in Sudan or in Somalia or even farther south. Andreas J.G. Frank --62.146.145.126 00:41, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
