Talk:Hannes Rohregger

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This article is proposed for deletion but this individual exists. Rohregger is given anecdotal mention in "Forza Italia: A Journey in Search of Italy and its Football" and is mentioned in a few books published in Italian. He is less well known as most of the authors who have written on him have been of Italian or Austrian origin. Though no where in my reading have I heard of Rohregger being spotted by Arrigo Sacchi's brother-in-law. From what I was aware, he played usually at the regional level.

@previous submission: I'm pretty sure he had some sort of link with Arrigo Sacchi, that section should not have been deleted. The references made don't include any of the German literature where he is mentioned. South Tyrol is bi-lingual and there is an article about Rohregger's encounter with Sacchi in "Tageszeitung" during the year he signed onto his local club. Goibee 13:06, 7 November 2007 (UTC)

Dear Goibee: It is true that Hannes Rohregger did play for Bolzano in his early years. I was on exchange at the University of Bolzano and i watched a few games that he played in. I remember there was a big hype over him, maybe someone can find more info from the "Alto Adige", its the local newspaper (in italian) i remember they had an article on him.
