I've done a some copy-editing on this page for clarity - I have done some major reworking of the english/syntax etc.. I'm not at all affiliated with the company and I've tried to make it less of a promotional article! It's still a stub, though. Maybe someone with more wikimarkup knowledge than me could do the code for citations and an image - there are plenty on their websites! Thanks tedthegoldfish 07:55, 5 July 2006 (UTC)

Can anyone clue me in to the meaning of the sentence " Although the company was not connected with him, the company was named in honor of the inventor of tire and auto parts corporation. established in 1940."? I always thought Hankook was a romanization of 한국, aka Korea. -- Visviva 11:13, 6 January 2006 (UTC)

I was wondering exactly the same thing! -- Mikeblas 18:52, 20 January 2006 (UTC)
I just searched for "Hankook" and was directed to the Korea article. Not even a disambiguation page! -- salamurai 20:39, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

I added a cleanup tag. I think the article is barely more than a bit of brochurespeak for the company (and as indicated above, doesn't even make sense).Graham 00:37, 23 January 2006 (UTC)

Other articles mention Michelin, Bridgestone and Goodyear as being the top three largest tire manufacturers. This article needs supporting evidence that Hankook is the largest as those other companies are much more familiar to the english-speaking world. Dyl 20:43, 11 June 2006 (UTC)

I've just read Hankook is the 8th largest tire company in an article about a new investment of theirs.

The article can be found here http://index.hu/gazdasag/magyar/hanko/ , but is all in Hungarian, so I guess this won't help most of the people. Anyway look for "A Hankook Tire – a világ nyolcadik legnagyobb gumiabroncsgyártója –" part in the text if still interested. --Shinjin 08:46, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
