Radio-Electronics started a quarterly Special Projects magazine in 1980. After 10 issues it was renamed Hands-On Electronics in the summer of 1984. In June 1988 Ziff Davis sold the title of their defunct Popular Electronics magazine back to Gernsback Publications. The Popular Electronics logo appeared on cover starting in the November 1988 issue. The magazine became Popular Electronics in February 1989.
Portion used: This 8 by 10.75 inch magazine has 106 pages. Only the front cover is used.
Source: This cover was scanned by User:Swtpc6800 on an Epson Perfection 1240U at 300 dpi with half-tone de-screening enabled and stored as TIFF. The image was touched up in Adobe Photo Elements 3.0 and this copy saved as a 50 dpi JPEG at Maximum Quality.
