Hans Raj College

Hans Raj College is one of the largest constituent colleges of the University of Delhi. It has been a part of the university for more than 50 years. It offers a variety of courses which range from BA(Hons.) to BSc.(Hons).
The college has constantly been ranked among the top ten colleges in India and among the five best under Delhi University.[citation needed]
The university rankers from the commerce stream are often from this college.[citation needed]
The college was founded by the D.A.V. College Managing Committee on July 26, 1948 in the sacred memory of Mahatma Hans Raj, a pioneer in the field of education. It is today one of the leading lights in the D.A.V. family of over 700 institutions.
