Hans LaRondelle

Hans K. LaRondelle (born 19??) is a Seventh-day Adventist theologian. He is a strong proponent of salvation by faith alone, and a respected Adventist theologian. In a 1985 questionnaire of North American Adventist lecturers, LaRondelle tied for fourth place among the Adventist authors who had most influenced them, and was number one amongst the under 39 age group.[1]

LaRondelle has a Doctor of Theology (Th.D.) from Reformed Free University in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

He, along with Desmond Ford[2] and Edward Heppenstall,[3] was a major opponent of Robert Brinsmead's perfectionist views during his "historic Adventism" phase.

LaRondelle is professor emeritus of theology at the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University. He lives in Bradenton, Florida.
