Hans J. Røsjorde

Hans J. Røsjorde (born 11 November 1941 in Brunlanes) is a Norwegian politician for the Progress Party.

He was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Hordaland in 1989, and was re-elected on two occasions. He had previously served in the position of deputy representative during the term 1981–1985 and 1985–1989. Midway through the second term, in 1987, he permanently replaced the deceased Bjørn Erling Ytterhorn.

Monsen was a member of Stord municipality council in 1979–1983, 1983–1987 and 1987–1989. Since 2001 he is the County Governor of Oslo and Akershus.
