Hans Hansen

Hans Hansen, called Hans í Mikladali (November 14, 1920 – March 8, 1970[1]) from Mikladalur, Faroe Islands was a Faroese painter. Four of his paintings were featured on a series of Faroese stamps issued in September 1998:

Stamp FR 333 of 1998: The Heath.

FR 334: Village.

FR 335: Man.

FR 336: Self portrait.

He was involved with the German expressionist correspondence known as the Glass Chain in which he contributed under the pseudonym Antischmitz.
