"Hannibal, Mo(Zour-Ee)" is a song from the film Tom Sawyer, written by Robert B. Sherman and Richard M. Sherman. The music was arranged by composer John Williams.
This song is a big musical number in the tradition of "Oklahoma!" which like that song is featured toward the end of the film at a big town gathering, in this case, the town picnic.

- Songwriter, Robert B. Sherman's two daughters are featured vocalists in the off screen chorus of this song. Their line is: "Standing guard on the jams and jellies..."
- The Sherman Brothers and John Williams share an Oscar nomination for "Best Music, Scoring Original Song Score and/or Adaptation and a Golden Globe nomination for Best Score for Motion Picture - Musical/Comedy.[1]
- In the follow up to Tom Sawyer, 1974's (Huckleberry Finn), the Sherman Brothers also wrote a song, the title of which includes both the name of the city and the name of the state. That song was "Cairo, Illinois"
