Hannah Beerman (born February 2, 1992) is a journalist and poet who first gained recognition through her internet blog "The Suburban Dreamer." Critics and music fans logged onto her blog and soon praised Beerman's knack for witty music commentary, poety, and art. [1]

Beerman was born and raised in the birthplace of artist Joseph Cornell, in riverside town South Nyack, NY. She was named after philosopher and thinker Hannah Arendt. Her father John Beerman is a popular landscape artist and her mother and grandmother manage Hudson River Editions, an art dealership and printing company. [2]
She currently attends a private Jewish high school in the suburbs of New York.
She continues to write for The Suburban Dreamer.
