Hanley Wood, LLC is a business-to-business media information company with revenues of $180 million. It focuses on home builders, new homes and the construction industry.
The company was founded in 1976 by Michael M. Wood and Michael Hanley as a custom publisher.[1]
In 1981, the company acquired BUILDER magazine.[1] In 2005, JP Morgan Partners acquired Hanley Wood from Veronis Suhler Stevenson; the closing represents second largest business-to-business media deal in U.S. history.[1]
Hanley Wood currently consists of four divisions in several locations across the United States. The company's headquarters are in Washington, D.C..
