Hank Bauer (born July 15, 1954 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska) was an American football running back in the NFL for the San Diego Chargers. He played college football for California Lutheran University. Broken neck forced retirement in 1983. Coached running backs and special teams for 4 years with the Chargers. Became sports anchor at KFMB TV, CBS affiliate San Diego 1987 to 2002.

Since 1998 he has been the color commentator on the Chargers radio broadcasts.
