- Thanks for the booya! It's nice to be welcomed. Also thanks for moving the criminal inquiry link to Nicoll Highway collapse which I'd missed. Guess I'll be fleshing that stub out a bit with inquiry findings. But on that page: quote "Catherine Tan's father" - Catherine who? --Hamstersanonymous 19:58, 22 July 2005 (UTC)
- Hah its alright. I found it strange why the Circle line page had no links to the Nicoll Highway collapse page, so I am not surprised you didnt find it too. I added that link and moved it, as I faintly recollect seeing that page's existance before. As for Catherine....I think she is the daughter of one of the dead men? The one who's body was recovered...--Huaiwei 05:37, 23 July 2005 (UTC)
- Guess I'm just nitpicking: that one-off sentence is not expanded upon; she is not well-known figure nor an important figure in the incident. Hence I don't think the name adds any useful information to the article. The same probably goes for "Mr Nuorinthong" - "Thai worker" alone suffices. What do you think? --Hamstersanonymous 09:42, 23 July 2005 (UTC)
- Hm....I just read the article, and I realise what you mean. Yes...the sentence on Catherine sounds strange. Listing the names of the deceased and a litle on their background shold be more then enough. but as for the Thai guy's name, perhaps we can leave it as it is (preferably with the presumption that the entire article is xpanded), as we dont want to be accused of being "elitist" or even "racist"? :D--Huaiwei 15:59, 23 July 2005 (UTC)
- Am working on expanding/rewording the article atm, see my sandbox. Mr Nuorinthong isn't the only person who recounted Mr Heng's bravery, and he isn't an important figure in the investigation; I thought substituted with " survivor accounts" is pretty sufficient. Hamstersanonymous 08:34, 24 July 2005 (UTC)
- Hoho...then we shall revisit this issue after the new version is done? Thanks for all the effort! ;) --Huaiwei 09:02, 24 July 2005 (UTC)

[edit] DYK Nomination
Thank you very much for the nomination, although I felt the article is obviously heavily biased towards Singapore in terms of content development! :D--Huaiwei (talk) 04:46, 23 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] My opinion doesn’t matter in Wikipedia
I have very bad experience with Wikipedia, even when you have a reason to do something. “YOUR REASON NEVER GOOD ENOUGH” I started this article because I know “almost” everything about this coin, I have tried to change in the existed article many times, unfortunately someone will come and change it without any knowledge about this coin, also many of this people have a commercial interest. My goal to present this coin from history point of view for Wikipedia reader and by merging this article with the “IGD” it will be tragedy. I really cannot do anything. The only thing I want is not to merge the two articles. I wish I can just delete it if that makes you happy. In the end of the day you do what you like because my reason is not good enough. Wish you the best.

[edit] I cannot agree with you more
Your respond was great. I was little bit hopeless with Wikipedia. Anyway I will be happy working with you in improving the 2 articles and when we feel that one is covering everything necessary then we can merge the two articles. I thing we have long way to go before the article look great. I will be adding some more material and you can check it and let me know what you think. I will try to have more time for writing.
- I would like to thank you for your time and patient with my attitude. I had good intention nothing more. You made me more optimistic.
- Best regards
