[edit] RAPID Express
Could someone clarify the RAPID Express? On the RAPID Express page, it states that service will begin in 2007. On the HRT Expressways page, it states that service will begin in 2008. I now reside in the Seattle area and I'm no longer a regular at the 15th Street facility.

[edit] System Map
I'm working on an unofficial system map for the southside (would someone be willing to create one for the peninsula?) since the only available system map is not up to date. I plan on releasing this map to the public domain (unless that's not allowed - could someone let me know?).

Update: I have stopped work on this due to copyright concerns with the street map that I currently have. --RaggieSoft 13:34, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Bus Routes
I'm currently working on the following:
- Fares
- Southside Transfer Points (would someone be willing to create a section for the peninsula?)
Route destination clarifications. For example, instead of "Route 1 Granby St - Downtown Norfolk/Wards Corner/Ocean View/Amphib Base/Pembroke"
I'll use:Route 1 Granby StDowntown NorfolkWards Corner: Routes 5, 15, and 61Ocean View Station: Routes 3 and 5Amphib Base (Gate 1): Route 8Shore Dr & Pleasure House: Routes 27 and 29Pembroke East: Routes 20, 36, and 61
(I've abandoned the idea unless someone wants me to do it) RaggieSoft 20:07, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
- This list will cover the transfer points
[edit] Light Rail (Norfolk)
I just started to work on it. I will be documenting the Norfolk Starter Project.
I am very familiar with the southside (TRT) division of the company. Would someone from the peninsula be able to help me for the northside (PENTRAN) division? --RaggieSoft 06:26, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Revision of 18:48, 6 July 2006
I did some major cutting to remove fluff. I removed all the information on the individual routes, as that crosses that line from encyclopedia content to a bus schedule. Such information is something that people should go to HRT's site in our external links section to get, and doesn't fit our Wikipedia. Same thing goes for fare information.
I left in the descriptions about what the different services are, and I hope that these get expanded. And a map would certainly be a good idea, to show the extent of the system.
Bottom line: My philosophy on Wikipedia articles for transit is that if a person wants to find "biographical information" about a system, it should go here. If a person wants to catch the bus to Wal-Mart, then they need to visit the transit service's official Web site. SchuminWeb (Talk) 18:57, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Response to cutting of bus information
The main reason I put it here is because no matter how much I beg and plead with HRT, they refuse to update any of their information. For example, refer to this Transit Gram. Then compare to the schedule of Route 2 (Hampton Blvd). The schedule does not include the seperate Weekday, Saturday, and Sunday schedules.

- As I mentioned on your talk page, your rationale causes it to begin to cross over into the area of original research, which Wikipedia prohibits. SchuminWeb (Talk) 16:47, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
