[edit] So, where is it?

For those of us not in the UK, and/or unfamiliar with UK geography, where the heck is this place? I didn't even know it was in the UK until the first paragraph of the second section. It'd be helpful if the location of this asylum were placed in the lead. Rstandefer 19:18, 1 August 2007 (UTC)

Ah, a flurry of edits by Wikipedians has satisfied my geographically-challenged query. Rstandefer 21:44, 1 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Article rework/possible split

I have a feeling this article is probably going to need splitting between an article covering mainly the history of the former Hampshire County Lunatic Asylum/Knowle Hospital, and a new article at Knowle, Hampshire (preferably not at Knowle Village given that that is the name of the development but not necessarily the place) covering the modern settlement and also the older parts along Mayles Lane. Any comments? DWaterson (talk) 18:56, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
