[edit] Article Deletion

This article should not be deleted because the music program is still expanding a the school. In addition, in the not so distant future, the band and orchestra will be ranked in the top ten programs in the nation.--mrbsball825 (talk) 14:12, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

This should be part of the school article, they aren't notable enough on their own (per WP:MUSIC) for a seperate article. --brewcrewer (yada, yada) 15:43, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] No Deletion

In contest to what is written above, this article should not be deleted because in the not so distant future the program will be considered on of the best in the nation. Deleting this article could cause a major uproar when the time comes. In addition, how many high school groups are invited to play at Carnieage Hall. (With emphasis on invited). This article still needs a large amount of work, there is no doubt about that, but there has been a reference site added which is the programs official site. Thanks for th time,--mrbsball825 (talk) 19:53, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

"will be considered..." seems to indicate you agree it's not _yet_ notable. Notability requires coverage which may occur after they play at Carnegie Hall and receive RS coverage. At that time the article can be re-created, no need for an uproar. TravellingCarithe Busy Bee 20:12, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
