[edit] Formation & Early Years
The club was founded in 2002 to fill a vacant position for a Women's team at the Beveree. The application for Hampton & Richmond Borough Women to join the Greater London Regional League, and become members of the Middlesex County Football Association, was accepted.
[edit] Leagues and Status
The first season was spent at the bottom of the Greater London League, in Division Four West - which is eight steps down the Women's football pyramid. However the side achieved promotion to Division Three at the first time of asking. This season also saw a record victory to add to the club archive, when HRBWFC beat CTC Ladies 38-0 in a league fixture.
The team's first season in Division Three saw them finish an admirable 4th place.
The following season saw an increase in demand of people wanting to represent the club, necessitating the need for a reserve team, which started playing in the Greater London Women's Reserve League Division Two. That season saw the first team finish 4th once again, and the reserve team finished runners up to champions Colne Valley reserves.
In 2005/2006, the team jumped up two divisions due to national restructuring, now competing in the Greater London League Division One, where they remain until this season. Both the reserve side and the first team finished in respectable mid-table positions.
This season also saw the introduction of an Under 15's side, who in the previous season had been playing under the name of Tooting & Mitcham Vale Girls, playing in the Surrey County League where they were very successful.
