[edit] General Information

Currently the Head teachers is Ms. Yveonne Strodzinski who took over from Robert Young in 2002.

The school is well known locally for it's Rock Nights, organised by Alan Wright (head of Science). He has produced a Rock Night for most years since he has been at the school. The first one was put on to address a need for local youth music performances, and we have to thank his son for bringing that need to his attention! Rock Nights are a great way to allow young musicians of all different styles to show their stuff. There have been over 13 of them so far, and everyine looks forward to the next!

[edit] Construction

At the moment Hamond's is taking part in a £3 million reconstruction, which is extending the school for the year 7s. This is also building a sixth form building so the sixth formers shall be in the school itself rather than the market place.

[edit] Former pupils
