Hammarby IF Bandy is a Swedish Bandy club from Södermalm, Stockholm, a section of the sports club Hammarby IF (disambiguation). Hammarby IF currently play in the eliteserien. They are in their 39th season in the Eliteserien. Hammarby have strong links with fellow Stockholm based club GT-76 with many players moving between the clubs.

The club was before the 2007/2008 season in big economic problems and a campaign called "Rädda Hammarby Bandy" (save Hammarby Bandy) was set up. In the autumn of 2007 they becamed a joint-stock company and sold over 400 shares and they got over 2 million sek.

Hammarby IF have been crowned World Champions twice beating Ljusdals BK 7-0 in 1999 and Sandvikens AIK 2-1 in 2001. Hammarby IF have never been Swedish champions but have been runners-up 7 times in the seasons 1956/1957, 1999/2000, 2000/2001, 2002/2003, 2003/2004, 2005/2006 and 2006/2007. They won the Swedish Cup 2007 , there first win, beating Sandviken in the final. In 2008 they lost to Sandvikens AIK in the Semi-finals with 3-1 in games.
