Hamish Mackie French (born February 7, 1964) is a former Scottish footballer who is currently head of youth development at Dunfermline Athletic.

He was born in Aberdeen and brought up in Methlick, Aberdeenshire, where his family still own a shop. After playing as a midfielder or forward for Keith in the Highland League, he won a contract with Dundee United in 1987, but his career there was disrupted by injuries. He later went on to play for Dunfermline Athletic between 1991 and 2000 before finishing his career with spells at Alloa Athletic and Cowdenbeath.
