Hamilton institute

The Hamilton Institute is a multi-disciplinary research centre formally established at the National University of Ireland, Maynooth in November 2001 under the first round of funding by Science Foundation Ireland. The Institute seeks to provide a bridge between mathematics and its applications in ICT and biology and currently has around 45 full-time researchers with a mix of backgrounds including mathematics, engineering, computer science and biology.
