Hamilton Township is one of nine townships in Sullivan County, Indiana. As of the 2000 census, its population was 7,083.

Hamilton Township covers an area of 60.91 square miles and contains one incorporated settlement, Sullivan (the county seat). According to the USGS, it contains eleven cemeteries: Brodie, Center Ridge, Coffman, Free, Good Hope, Little Flock, Moore, Morgan, Spencer, Timmons and Walls.
