The Hamilton Wentworth District School Board (HWDSB) is based in Hamilton, Ontario. It consists of almost 120 different schools in the local area, both elementary and secondary. The current Director of Education is Dr. Chris Spence.

The HWDSB has 15 wards and 11 trustees. The Chair of the Board, the Vice-Chair and the Honorary Treasurer are elected at the Inaugural meeting of the Board, and serve for one year.
