Hamid Sayani

Hamid Sayani was a popular announcer with the Hindi Service of Radio Ceylon. He was the brother of Ameen Sayani who presented Binaca Geetmala.
Hamid Sayani helped popularise Radio Ceylon across the Indian sub-continent[citation needed]. Millions tuned into the station widely regarded as the 'King of the Airwaves' in the 1950s and 1960s in South Asia[citation needed].
