Hambridge is a village in Somerset, England, situated seven miles south west of Somerton in the South Somerset district. The village is in the civil parish of 'Hambridge and Westport' which has a population of 526[2].

It lies close to the junction of the River Isle and the Westport Canal.

Hambridge is most notable as the place at which Cecil Sharp was inspired to begin collecting folk songs, on a visit to the vicarage.
