Hamblog

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

HamBlog is a freeware php-based blogging system by the company Hamsoft. It is designed from the ground up to be quick and simple to install and use, so anyone can create a unique blog on their own website without any experience, and without the need for a MySQL database.

It is similar in application to Wordpress and Movable Type, both of which utilize a database. However, in functionality it is cut-down, simple and uncomplicated, concentrating on the everyman rather than the hardcore geek. HamBlog is just as customisable as these two, however, especially for those who know php.

Hamblog is also a term used by amateur radio enthusiasts (or hams) for weblogs.
