[edit] Ginn Clubs and Resorts
Thank you for making the Ginn Clubs and Resorts article. I put back the wikify tag on it because it still needs more wikilinks and the lists aren't properly formatted. See WP:MOS for more information about formatting. --Sbluen 02:42, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Welcome
Hello Halo 31887. My name is Orane (but I go by the name 'Journalist' on Wikipedia) and I am one of Wikipedia's Administrators. I just stopped by to say Hi and to formally welcome you to Wikipedia. Thank you for your awesome contributions so far. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. I know that being here for the first few days may be a bit confusing, but you'll get used to it pretty soon.
Here are a few good links for newcomers. I know that they can be boring, but I recommend that you take a look at them:

- What Wikipedia is not

[edit] Citing Sources
Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. While the Wikipedia community appreciates your obvious efforts to increase the amount of information on the site, we'd like to point out our policy against original research and for citing sources for the information you provide. This increases the reputation of Wikipedia as a whole and aids in checking the factuality of that article. --D-Day I'm all ears How can I improve? 20:14, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Battle Droid Dispenser
The note above applies here, too; there's no citation of any movie in which this apears. See also WP:CRUFT and WP:FICT, especially the section on tone and focus. If anything, you may want to merge this information into an omnibus article on minor vehicles or minor devices in Star Wars.Bkalafut 17:39, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Please stop
Hello, please stop reposting deleted fictional trivia and creating articles minor fictional devices and things; we've been trying really hard to reduce this sort of trivia on Wikipedia, so if you can help out by providing more constructive, well-references, notable and out-of-universe based edits, it would be appreciated. However, please stop making articles like Battle Droid Dispenser, as this information can be developed into one of our numerous lists or already created articles on, say, Battle Droids and the Trade Federartion. — Deckiller 04:02, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Duel on Mustafar
I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Duel on Mustafar, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. [edit] Faurecia
A tag has been placed on Faurecia, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. N i g h t F a l c o n 9 0 9 0 9' T a l k 14:30, 16 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Notability of Fred Stoller
A tag has been placed on Fred Stoller, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Corvus cornix 23:18, 22 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Notability of Boyd Coddington Hot Rod Shop
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Boyd Coddington Hot Rod Shop, by GlassCobra (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Boyd Coddington Hot Rod Shop seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Boyd Coddington Hot Rod Shop, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 20:25, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Notability of F&P
A tag has been placed on F&P, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}

[edit] Your userpage
Your userpage was in user template categories and I took it out of them. Please only use transclusion, i.e. {{Userbox}} to display userboxes.
Also please do not delete your talk page, it is customary to either archive or just keep the messages on there, otherwise it can be disrespectful to other editors. 76.16.187.218 (talk) 21:24, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Miccosukee Indian Gambling
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Miccosukee Indian Gambling, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Miccosukee Indian Gambling. Another editor has added the {{prod}}
template to the article Massassi Temple, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}}

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:New York Flag.png
Thank you for uploading Image:New York Flag.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 00:16, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
