[edit] Edit Summary Request
I have noted that you often edit without an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This is considered an important guideline in Wikipedia. Even a short summary is better than no summary. An edit summary is even more important if you delete any text; otherwise, people may think you're being sneaky. Also, mentioning one change but not another one can be misleading to someone who finds the other one more important; add "and misc." to cover the other change(s). Thanks! -- Kukini 19:07, 11 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Mike Wazowski
Why do you keep removing the redirect from Mike Wazowski? There's no useful content there. The article as it is now is too short. Powers 20:25, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Clam Pond
If you need to experiment with page creation/layout, please use the Wikipedia:Sandbox before you start creating empty pages with little to no text beforehand. Cheers, Netsnipe (Talk) 17:01, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Page moves
Please use the move page function in future, instead of copy-paste, which loses the edit history (I've fixed it in this case). Evercat 14:13, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] You moved Long Island (Boston)
Hi Halibut Thyme. I am not sure why you moved the main article for Long Island (Boston) to reside in Long Island, Massachusetts without discussion. There may be many "Long Islands" in Massachusetts and there is no set canonical form for such titles yet as far as I know. Also you didn't fix up the other articles which pointed to it. Please advise. Best. --- (Bob) Wikiklrsc 20:36, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Pointless edits
Hi, just thought you ought to know that many of your recent edits such as this one you made to Tropical Storm Arlene (2005) are completely pointless. They make no difference to how the article displays at all and as such are a waste of time.--Nilfanion (talk) 13:39, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:Lightning McQueen Early.JPG
Thanks for uploading Image:Lightning McQueen Early.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 22:07, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Do NOT violate consensus
Re. your recent edits to Tropical Storm Chris (2006), there is a consensus to keep it merged (see Talk:2006 Atlantic hurricane season#IRC discussion on Chris - result). Further reverts may get you blocked for violating consensus. – Chacor 13:58, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
- By the way, you are welcom to help us at User:Hurricanehink/Sandbox, where we are temporarily holding the article. – Chacor 14:02, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Warning
Thanks for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test of deliberately adding incorrect information, as you did to 2006_Pacific_hurricane_season, worked, and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks.
The particular edit in question is this. – Chacor 02:19, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Never on Tuesday
I've amended your changes to this film, added Brad Wyman to the list of producers and removed the rather large "a Brad Wyman Film" box since this is a fairly small film stub and Brad Wyman was only one of three producers of this film (If you want to just add a catergory then go ahead) but the info box does over dominate the page? [or do I add a similar box for all the cast, director, writer and other producers ;-)] Jaster 08:03, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your recent edits to 2006 Pacific hurricane season and Hurricane Ioke
I have reverted your recent edits to add a non-existent template. Please don't create it; there is no consensus for it - the Pacific isn't the Atlantic. – Chacor 13:49, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Unspecified source for Image:Lightning McQueen Early.JPG
Thanks for uploading Image:Lightning McQueen Early.JPG. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. – Chacor 13:58, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Proposed deletion
I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Meteor Vineyards, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the issues raised at Talk:Meteor Vineyards. If you remove the {{dated prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. [edit] Simpsons episode list templates (TfD nomination)
Hi. I noticed you made this template: Template:The Simpsons season 1. Why? All Simpsons episode articles already have their respective season's episode lists in their infoboxes at the top right. The template seem redundant, and now that anon users have started adding it to S1 articles, it seems to become somewhat of an annoyance. Baffled, I was originally going to post it on Articles for Deletion, but I wanted to head what you had to say. — Mütze 10:43, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
Template:The Simpsons season 1 has been nominated for deletion. You are invited to comment on the discussion at the template's entry on the Templates for Deletion page. Thank you. — Mütze 15:18, 7 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image tagging for Image:X-Ray Holes.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:X-Ray Holes.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:CallisterSimpsons.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:CallisterSimpsons.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. [edit] Image:Khleothomaszeroholescropped.jpg listed for deletion
An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, Image:Khleothomaszeroholescropped.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. [edit] The Village Barbershop
Another editor has added the "{{prod}}
" template to the article The Village Barbershop, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}}
template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. BJBot (talk) 21:00, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Speedy deletion of Template:Monty Python and the Holy Grail character
A tag has been placed on Template:Monty Python and the Holy Grail character requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.
If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{transclusionless}}</noinclude>).
Thanks. --MZMcBride (talk) 22:59, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Stanley Yelnats' Survival Guide to Camp Green Lake
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Stanley Yelnats' Survival Guide to Camp Green Lake, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}}
to the top of Stanley Yelnats' Survival Guide to Camp Green Lake. Thisisborin9talk|contribs 03:34, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] AfD nomination of Stanley Yelnats' Survival Guide to Camp Green Lake
I have nominated Stanley Yelnats' Survival Guide to Camp Green Lake, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Stanley Yelnats' Survival Guide to Camp Green Lake. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
