User:Halo/Not everyone is an ostrich
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Don't assume that everyone is an ostrich - sometimes people can have their own opinions and they can differ wildly from yours, despite having exactly the same information you do. People can often come to their own conclusions without your help, and they can be different from yours and they aren't necessarily wrong.
This isn't a cue for you to start wikilawyering, shouting people down, to stop assuming good faith or to stop being civil to try and right their perceived wrong. It's for you to let it go and understand sometimes people's opinions differ even when both of you are faced with exactly the same information. A disagreement is not a case of someone being an ostrich.
When it's a matter of opinion, don't assume that they're wrong and you're right
