Hi, welcome to my Wikipedia user page. I am a scientist by trade and interested in acquiring and creating knowledge. Wikipedia is a very interesting idea.

In the December 15, 2005 issue of the scientific journal "Nature", the joural reported the results of an investigation to study the accuracy of 42 scientific entries in Wikipedia and Britannica. Using a peer-review process carried out by the experts in the respective fields of study, they found 4 serious errors both in Wikipedia and in Britannica. This gives strong credential to the process to which Wikipedia has been created. I believe Wikipedia can grow beyond the Britannica because of its potential to have more extensive and in-depth coverage (not restricted by the length or the number of links and footnotes) of any topic and the free access to it where there is internet connection.
