Talk:Halston
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Ok. So Halston is a historical figure. But what of his suits? I just bought a very expensive suit, with the Halston name on it, made in Italy (so it says), and now I am not sure that I actually got any value. It was "on sale"... but who is selling these things besides Filene's Basement?
i have one 2. i bought it at filenes. it sure seems nice. did i get gyped? i hope not.
I bought a couple of the Halston suits. It appears as though he was a very prominent designer in the 70's and 80's and then his company was sold in the early 90's when he agreed to design for JC Penny. The suits look like they are great quality I should go back and ask where they were aqcuired to see what the story is...
[edit] Copyright, creation of stub
After an anonymous user pointed out that this page was a major copyright violation (and has been since its creation), I blanked the page and added the copyvio tag. I've edited Halston/Temp to create a stub for this article so it wouldn't be blank when the previous page is deleted, but I really have no knowledge in this subject. Hopefully someone else will come along and rewrite this article. EWS23 | (Leave me a message!) 07:31, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Current state of this article
Given that Halston is a fashion icon, I'm shocked at the state of this article. I'm going to try to bring it up to good article status. If anybody would like to join me, feel free. janejellyroll 00:48, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
