[edit] Hemirhaphodon photo

That photo is of a subadult fish. It's about 4 cm long. But yes, the grow bigger, to about 10 cm. Cheers, Neale 20:36, 19 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Hemiramphid diet

The diet portion of this article really should discuss Hemiramhpid herbivory. In this light, the Tibbetts and Carseldine 2005 paper on ontogenetic trophic shifts is misrepresented. It does not conclude that garfish shift diet according to season, (Klumpp and Roberts 1983 and Coetzee 1981 are both better references for that) but that the three herbivorous species discussed in the paper start out life as carnivores and shift to herbivory.
