Found it there now, but AfD didn't load initially, and I'd guess the 1st poster couldn't find it either a few hours earlier. And I stick to my preference for having at least something in the article's discussion page. Bill Martin 21:09, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
From a practical point of view (at least when AfD loads) something on the talk page is redundant; the link to the AfD is right in the notice. From a politeness point of view, you may have a point. --barneca (talk) 21:32, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
