Good job Kyle, you stick it to the man by vandalising public web sites. -Tachyon out!
HOw is what i wrote vandalism?? i dont get it. Explain why the last part of these comments about Hal Anderson is not vandalism. Im not trying to 'vandalise' anything. I understand that this site is not intended to be a public forum to express personal opinions. And that is the only reason for what i put. I will not post again, but hope that you consider removing those opinions from the site. Thanks for your time. - Kyle out!!
- I am the one who wrote the original political based comment. I don't see it as vandalism because in no way am I criticizing Hal Anderson. I live in Winnipeg and listen to the Wheeler and Hal Show on a regular basis, including during the time of this vote and thus know that someone put Hal in the competition as a joke. This prompted the two hosts to see if they could throw the vote by getting as many people to vote as possible. It was a joke from the beginning and shows exactly how an organized group can (not an opinion) throw a democratic vote. Hal Anderson, has not contributed to Canadian history, has not defined Canadian identity and does not deserve to be on that list. It's a mockery that he would try in the first place and an embarrassment that enough people cared to ruin the purpose of the vote by voting for him. Political propaganda, depending on your sensitivity to such thing, maybe, but it is on a page where the primary point is his "achievement" of being the 34th greatest Canadian. If you really want to get dirty, the comment has been there through enough edits and checks to show that the admins of Wikipedia consider it legitimate. - Sean
[edit] Hal's still watching
This article was mentioned mere minutes ago on the Wheeler & Hal show. Expect a fresh batch of vandals to close in soon.
Hal also recommended including a note about the "Epic Empire" video game skit in lieu of the entirely unfounded "DDR Hal Anderson 2006" mentioned here. --Dasyati 13:35, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
