Haltom High School is a grade 9-12 high school located in Haltom City, Texas. It is home to over 2500 students. 53% of the student population is white, 31% is hispanic, 9% Asian, and 7% African-American.
Three middle schools feed into Haltom High School: North Oaks Middle School, Watuaga Middle School, and Haltom Middle School. Haltom is the largest high school in the Birdville Independent School District, both in population and building size. The Haltom mascot is the Buffalo. School colors are Black, Orange, and White.
Haltom High School is planning an expansion over the next six years starting from 07'. The expansion will make room for another gym, blackbox theatre, a choir room, a band hall, percussion room, and color guard room, and more classrooms.

The Haltom High School Choir is also known as the "Voice of Haltom". Which consists of many different choirs. The Voice of Haltom is under the direction of Amy Allibon, David Edmonds and the voice instructor Shirley Johnson. The A capella choir was chosen as the only 5A high school choir to attend TMEA (Texas Music Educators Association) in 2008. Which is a very big honor for choirs in the state of Texas. This organization includes a total of eight choirs; which are, Varsity men & women, A capella, Chorale, Bel Canto, Adv Treble, JV men, Haltom Singers, and Haltom Harmony. 2008 isn;t the only year that this organization has received prestigious awards and honors.

The Haltom High School Band, also known as the "Pride of Haltom" is under the direction of Greg Hull, Van Matthews, and Ben Maughmer. Its Drum Majors are Andrew Rogers, Marco Sabado, Danielle Daniels, and Mercedes Yanes. The Haltom High School Marching Band is a consistent recipient of the UIL Sweepstakes Award, was a Texas 5A State Marching Band Finalist in 2004, and has been a Bands of America Regional Finalist from 1995 to present.

The Theatre, the "Spirit" of Haltom High, is an award-winning program which specializes in large main-stage productions. [1]

"Bang Bang You're Dead" by William Mastrosimone is the play currently in production. It will be directed by Seniors Richard Stutheit and Anthony Hernandez.[2]
