Hallett Motor Racing Circuit is a wonderful road racing course about 35 miles west of Tulsa in Northeastern Oklahoma.
With 10 turns in 1.8 miles, and over 80 feet of elevation change it is considered technically difficult. The track is also configured where it can be run both clockwise and counter-clockwise, yielding two distinct race courses.
Hallett hosts their own Competition Motor Sports Association (COMMA) events, as well as Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) events and many other events for different brands and models of cars (Miata Clubs, Z-car Owners, BMWCCA, etc). Motorcycles and high-speed go-karts can also run at Hallett.
As well as sanctioned races, the track also hosts COMMA High Speed Touring dates where regular cars and sports cars can experience laps on the circuit under more controlled circumstances (e.g., overtaking on straightaways only). They also provide driver education classes and a full race instruction program.
Facilities include grandstands, garages, raceports, the Finish Line Cafe, restrooms, a timing & scoring building with a VIP lounge, press facilities and a gift shop.
The Stephens family manage the track and provide a very friendly and inclusive atmosphere.
They also maintain a website with event schedules at www.hallettracing.net
