Hallah (Hebrew: חלה, lit. "Glob of Dough") is the ninth tractate of Seder Zeraim ("Order of Seeds") of the Mishnah and of the Talmud. This is "Hallah" is a separated from all dough baked and put aside for Kohen in Biblical times and the time of the Jewish Temple. Today, it separated and burnt in the oven to crisp or fed to birds in a few Jewish communities. This separation of Hallah is done everywhere for all time in Jewish communities. Before you separate the Hallah the blessing said is "Al Atefias Challah" then separate it. The amount separated is only from bread products made with 5 or more pounds of flour and amount separated is the size of an egg or about 1/18 of a 5 pound dough ball. If less then 5 pound used some separate without a blessing other do not separate at all. If forgot separate while cooking, it can be separated afterwards the appropriate without a blessing.
