Halifax Street, Adelaide

Halifax Street is a major street in the south-eastern sector of the central business district of Adelaide, South Australia[1]. It runs east-west, between East Terrace and King William Street. It was named after Sir Charles Wood (later Charles Wood, 1st Viscount Halifax), British Member of Parliament for Halifax and Commissioner of Emigration. [1]

Halifax Street passes through Hurtle Square[2].
