Halifax Area High School is a public secondary school located in Halifax, Pennsylvania. The school serves about 350 students in grades 9 to 12 in the Halifax Area School District.

Halifax Area High School is located at 3940 Peters Mountain Road, Halifax, Pennsylvania in Dauphin County. Like most high schools in the area, Halifax Area High School has a student enrollment in 9th to 12th grade of approximately 380.[citation needed]
David Hatfield is the current principal of Halifax Area High School. He assumed this position in 2006. Prior to his assumption as high school principal, David Hatfield was assistant principal in both the high school and middle school (both of which are located in the same building).[1]
Gregory Milbrand is the current assistant principal of Halifax Area High School, starting this role in December 2007.[citation needed]
In 2007, the average SAT scores were 498 Critical Reading, 509 Math, and 503 Writing. [4]
